      The beginning of a new series with the lead character Ardis Cole, an archeologist. At the request of her mentor, Jane Darvin, Ardis heads to Egypt to help her investigate the tomb of Senmut, scribe and architect to Queen Hatshepsut. The tomb is Jane’s career goal but when she contacts Ardis she indicates there is no one there she can trust.When Jane arrives at the tomb she finds Jane collapsed in the tomb and they rush her to the hospital. She dies before she can take Ardis into her confidence and explain what is going on.So begins the mystery of the curse and a rollercoaster ride of murder, attempted murder, and romance. I look forward to reading more of this series.

      Ardis Cole is summoned to Egypt by her teacher and mentor Jane Darvin.Jane is murdered as soon as Ardis arrives and she must take over the project. There are many mysterious happenings and people in this story. If you like love Egypt,archeology and mystery this is the series for you. I finished it in 2 days I could not put it down I can't wait for the next book in the series.
