About this audiobook

This series is the first Christian answer to popular books like Percy Jackson and other middle grade series packed with action and adventure.

Truth Runner, audio book 4 in the highly acclaimed Son of Angels series, picks up with Jonah, Eliza, and Jeremiah Stone after the most difficult six months of their lives.

Jonah doesn't want all the responsibility that comes with being a quarterling — the child of a human and a nephilim, a creature found in the Bible (Genesis 6:4). He just wants to be "normal." As much as he tries to ignore it, Jonah can still see fallen angels and the evil they're doing. But when Jonah realizes the Fallen are attacking his friends without their knowledge, he is faced with a choice: continue to ignore it and forge his own path, or remember who he really is and fight for his friends.

Truth RunnerSummary: Jonah, Eliza, and Jeremiah Stone are not doing so well after their mom died. They are all very sad and are having trouble dealing with their loss. They are dealing with it in different ways though. Eliza and Jeremiah are both back in the school for the quarterlings (one-quarter angel) and are continuing their learning and training on how to fight the Fallen. Jonah though, went back to his old home and is going to a normal high school. There he encounters many fallen angels who are running the school and are slowly driving everybody away from God. Jonah could choose to fight the fallen but instead he just ignores them and lets them do what they want to. Another thing Jonah does while he is there is play on the basketball team. Jonah is the star of the team and uses his angelic powers to easily out run and out play the other players. Meanwhile Eliza and Jeremiah are busy fighting and training in New York (where their school is). One day while they are fighting though, Jeremiah thinks he sees his mom and follows her. It turned out that it was not their mom, it was a trap. Jeremiah was kidnapped by the fallen and brought to a giant yacht where he was held captive. It is up to Jonah, Eliza, and the other quarterlings to save him.Review: Truth Runner was a very good book. I like how there is a good action series that teaches the bible. Unlike the last book in the series, Truth Runner had a good ending. The author did a very good job on the book and kept you wanting to read to the very end and the book was interesting and fun to read (most of the time). One bad thing about the book though, was that it got boarding during a few parts of the book, but it always got more interesting and so it kept me wanting to read. I would recommend this book to anyone who is a Christian and likes to read action and adventure books. Overall, Truth Runner was a great book and I definitely recommend reading it.
