Very intriguing study. Rainer interviewed various persons who would be considered 'unchurched' and had recently accepted Christ and stuck with a church. He asks them questions as to what drew them to a particular church. The book highlights a wide range of topics... and there are issues which are surprisingly absent on the list. Overall, a very interesting and challenging read... if only to help us focus on the real mission of the church: Bringing new believers into the kingdom... NOT trying to draw transfers away from other churches.

An eye-opening book investigating how it is that people come to faith in Jesus Christ. The author spends time considering the views of those who recently became believers in various churches and the reasons behind their decisions.Extremely illuminating for those involved in ministry and/or evangelism.
