      Hmm…This is my first book by the author and though I have her “My Favourite Mistake” on my amazon wishlist I haven’t got around to buying it yet.

      For me, this started good. We understood her animosity to the brothers and everything and we could see for ourselves how much of an arse Zach was while Zan was a man of few words and dark, bottomless eyes. I just didn’t quite seem to catch the bit where her feelings changed. Yeah, we as the reader knew that Zan wasn’t so bad and he may have done stupid things in the past but he’s changed now, but when did Lottie figure it out because she never really gave him a chance to talk to her?

      That being said, I did like the characters (though there are quite a few by the end and I got confused a bit between Audrey and Trish). On the other hand, Lottie and her twin brother Will’s “twindar” was very impressive. If that really happens when you have a twin, I am impressed and wish I had one. I really liked Stryker too, he seemed like a chilled out kind of guy who could talk a lot of sense, I wish I had a friend like him. Looking forward to his and Katie’s story when it’s released.

      It was quite a sweet story when they finally got together and the bad guy got his comeuppance in the end.

      I loved the story of Lottie and Zan. One night changed the course of everyone's life. Lottie, her best friend Lexie, Zan and his brother Zack. from that night everything they knew changed. fast forward two years later. Lottie hates Zan and Zack for what they did, what they took away.But when life causes their paths to cross again, all their scars are ripped open and when they heal its beautiful. I do hate how Lottie behaved some but I understand. I think the only reason I forgave Zan so quickly is because we were able to get in his head. I also liked that Zan liked to read just as much as Lottie and that they were into the same books as well. it was hard to remember that they are young, only because they act like adults in some, well most situations they are in. great book and cannot wait to read Katie's story. if it's anything like this one I know I will love it!

      It was a little slow to get going, but it was definitely a HEA that you can just read and enjoy. I would love to be a part of a friend group like theirs.

      I don't know what I went in expecting.The premise sounded great. I love books where two people from different parts of life come together. The animosity between Lottie and Zan really helped that.But towards the end, about 70% through, it got kinda bogged down. The lovey dovey part of Zan and Lottie's relationship wasn't as endearing as I hoped it would be. It was irritating actually.I loved how Cameron integrated To Kill a Mockingbird in this story. That was truly lovely.I'm a little drunk right now and I'm not necessarily sure how my feelings for this book are coming through. I guess I just hoped it would have been better.Zack was a dick. I loved all of Lotties friends.I'm really excited to read about Stryker in the next book! That's gunna be cool.

      I really loved this book. The story was unique, the writing style was fabulous and in the first chapter I was captivated. Chelsea Cameron’s characters were complicated, but relatable and lovable. The love and friendships that are kept through the ages were heart-warming and the difficult issues that are dealt with very deep and meaningful. I have definitely found another author to add to my favourites list.The story begins when a bunch of teenagers are having a party, that happens regularly with a big bonfire. The only difference at this party was the stupidity of the teenagers and the tragedy that occurs. This night changes the lives of a group of friends forever and not for the better. Charlotte (Lottie) Anders and her best friend since forever, will be best friends forever, the only difference is now Lexie has brain damage and will never have the future they always dreamed.Two years after the accident and Lottie and her twin brother Will are off to college to start afresh. Everything is going fine until Lottie meets her roommate’s boyfriend, Zack. Zack Parker was one of the responsible boys for the accident and it doesn’t seem to have changed him or his habits at all. Lottie is distraught and thought she could move on, but now with Zack being pushed in her face, how will she stay sane.The day only gets worse when Zack’s brother is also attending the college, Zan. Zan was implicated for the accident and is Lottie’s worst nightmare. Now what is Lottie going to do with both brothers’ going to the same college and them all seemingly being pushed together? But the more Lottie has no choice but to spend time with Zan, the more she realises he isn’t the monster she thought he was. Under the anger and guilt that Zan has, he is a nice guy and does have feelings.It is not fair that Lottie can hold onto so much guilt and built up anger, when it isn’t her fault to burden. Lottie is at a crossroads; she doesn’t know if she is allowed to have feelings for Zan, when he was always thought of as the monster that destroyed their lives. Her loyalty has always been with Lexie, but now with her feelings for Zan, can she let go enough to love them both with no guilt? Follow the love story of Lottie and Zan when they are at their weakest and mostly vulnerable. See their point of views and reasoning for holding onto so much guilt and anger, but see how their friendship blossoms and the loyalty they gain from a bunch of friends that come together in college.Deeper We Fall is definitely a heart wrenching read, full to the brim of anger, guilt and young love. I loved all the “twindar” moments between Lottie and Will and their quirkiness; they lightened the mood and always had a way to make me laugh with their Star Wars Yoda speech. Loved it! Highly recommend to all new adult readers.
