The Boxcar Children and their grandfather are going to New Orleans. The Aldens like exploring the city. Most of all, they like helping Grandfather's friend clean up her old, dusty bookstore. They discover lots of interesting things in the store, especially a beautiful set of fairy tales. But then mysterious things start to happen. One of the books in the set is missing! Someone is after something the Boxcar Children have. Will they be able to solve this new, exciting mystery?

Gertrude Chandler Warner (1890–1979) was an American author who specialized in children's literature. The Boxcar Children is her most well-known work, as she went on to write eighteen more books in the series. The series became so popular, that it continues on today.

I love books and I love mysteries, that’s why I love this book so much. My favourite part was when the Alden’s stopped the bad people from stealing the very valuable books with a hidden valuable stamp hidden inside the book. You have got to listen to it. And now.❤️❤️ - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I loved this book! Totally a must read for kids and tweens
