- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I couldn’t finish this book. It was so slow.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Blinded features Stephen White’s familiar duo of psychologist Dr. Alan Gregory and his buddy, officer Sam Purdy. Gregory is trying to deal with his growing toddler along with his wife, who has MS. He sees an old patient, Gibbs Storey in therapy and she tells him that she believes her husband has murdered a former lover and a bunch of other women. Since Gregory can’t go to the police with this, he turns to Sam, who is recovering from a heart attack. They both follow separate investigational paths trying to find out the truth. This novel is long-winded and not particular interesting at times. It drags on and would be better if it was cut considerably. There is also a lack of believability with much of the plot. Gibbs Storey as a character comes off as not particularly likeable or credible. This is definitely a notch below some of the other Alan Gregory novels I have read. I would advise skipping it.Carl Alves – author of Blood Street
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Another twist turning murder mystery from Stephen White that doesn't disappoint. Relationships are on the line & our favorite Psychoanalyst Gregory Allan & his best friend Detective Sam Purdy are on the case. A must read for any fan of the series or a must listen for any audiobook lover. Dick Hill does an amazing job, as usual, bringing these characters off the page and to life.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5For Stephen White, this was too plain a plot. Although I was, surprisingly, surprised at the end.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This one was a largely captivating page turner, though it was a bit annoying that certain loose ends were never tied up. The characters were interesting and I'll probably read more of the series when I need an easy read.
