About this audiobook
The astonishing true story of Wilkerson's outreach to New York teens trapped by drugs and gangs. Gang-fighters! Drug addicts. Teenage runaways and prostitutes! The toughest and most hopeless kids that New York's ghettos had to offer. Then a young preacher from the Pennsylvania hills arrived on their turf and began preaching a message of renewal, miracles, and God's love. This is one of the century's great true stories. Over 14 million copies in print!

What an amazing story !
I first expected the LORD in 1977 at the ago of 13, and heard about this book, However I have never read it, 2 years ago tin challenge was at our church, and I was amazed while talking to 2 young ladies to find out that this book was still in print, I decided I need to read it someday, As a truck driver of 37 years it's hard for me to be able to read a book audio book says the best way I can read and drive, And I am amazed with this story and what an amazing move of the Holy Spirit, You will be truly blessed by this story, I am planning on recommending this to the people in my daily Txt group. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5So so inspiring to see how our Lord works and provides when people allow the Holy Spirit to lead. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A very good Christian book. A bit mature but all in all it is inspiring and I really liked it. Makes me feel like going out on the mission field!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The story of one man's mission to the gangs of New York, Mr. Wilkerson describes the hardships involved in reaching the teens. From being threatened with death, thrown from a courtroom, and laughed at by the kids he was trying to reach, the hand of God was always at work. An encouraging read to any Christian and an interesting one none the less, I was blessed by this book.
