About this audiobook
The culmination of long-term research, The Return of the Gods argues that we are very much in the minds and eyes of other cosmic life forms and that, as a result, many of the dramatic historical events and remarkable teachings of religious texts should be reinterpreted-even the idea of Judgment Day itself!

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I like this book the least of Von Däniken’s books that I have read so far. While I don’t subscribe to the majority of his writings I do find them entertaining and a little thought provoking. This book seemed to have a lot of filler to it. Whole passages are given over to examples of what extra terrestrials think of humans and of earth. And I don’t think we really need to have these examples presented to us. I would find it more worthwhile if some of the archeological finds talked about in the book had been fleshed out a bit more.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5There was too much filler. Chapters 4 & 5 went into so much scientific data that I lost interest. I was so eager to dig deeper and learn more about the unseen life of angels but this book went off topic for me and I found it difficult to finish.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5brilliant! erik von D is better than most believe and his work should be read before judging him!
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Enoch was interesting. How reliable is" the book of Enoch?
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Whoever believes "the mainstream" ignores von Däniken is too dumb to do proper scientific research. (No, you don't do this on YouTube or by googling "Why von Däniken is ignored by teh evil mainstream".)
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Now dated, I guess, but I appreciate the way he leads one’s mind through his thought processes. There were bits I zoned out on; much too technical and specific for me to follow. A good listen.
