    The Fairest encompasses a group of juniors in High School who deal with drama over the Princess of the Fair Election. Ms. Gayle Amsterdam, a teacher, announced that only the entire junior, girl class cound compete. This causes bedlam around the school because girls did anything they needed to win. Through out the middle A couple breakes up because the boyfiend wasn not supportive of the girlfriend's savage attempts to win. One girl, Alonne, sees everything that happens and wishes that Ms. Gayle never announced the competition. By the end, all the girls are anctious to win, but a nice, fair, and all around good girl named Carissa ends up winning. (179 pages read/ 179 pages)
