About this audiobook
Harriet M. Welsch has just received the best news of her eleventh year-Ole Golly is coming back! Harriet can still remember how sad she was when her beloved nanny married George Waldenstein and moved away. But the circumstances of Ole Golly's return remain unclear. Where is George Waldenstein?
With Mr. and Mrs. Welsch living in France for three months, Sport confiding that he has a crush on a girl at school, and the arrival of a mysterious new neighbor, who's going to require a whole lot of spying, Harriet already has her hands full. Then she overhears Ole Golly saying she's innocent-but innocent of what? Harriet the Spy is on the case and ready to help Ole Golly in any way she can.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Nothing at all like the "real" Harriet...and that's a shame. I don't think she would have acted like this at all. It's very hard to capture the original character, no matter how much you may have loved her when you were growing up. Otherwise, it was a pleasant little read, if you can ignore your preconceived notions.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I was skeptical. But it was better than Thrones, Dominations. Just don't think too hard about what year it is (which is also a valuable skill in a L'Engle series.)
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I couldn't really get into this. I preferred the original Harriet the Spy book to this one, it got a little boring and monotonous. Maybe I'm too old for it or something, but stopped reading it halfway through and going to pass it on.
