- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Straight Talk, No Chaser is a far more comprehensive book than Think Like A Man, Act Like A Lady. In this audiobook, Steve Harvey, in his equally funny but serious style lays the responsibilities for thriving in a relationship squarely on both partners. He is mostly talking to the ladies but spends a significant amount of time detailing what men should be doing and how to respond.
I enjoyed it because it was clearly written by someone with more than a few lessons learned. He is real, insightful and himself. You may not agree with everything he says. It may be hard to hear even. But ultimately he pitches his advice as how to get a win-win for both sides.
And that surely can only be a good thing for all.2 people found this helpful
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Very subjective and sexist book but found it informative nonetheless

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5From a perspective of a man it's interesting to know the way they think. Take what it fits you. I mean, I can't, neither want to be as his wife who only lives to keep his house and raise his children.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Not as insightful as the first book, I still didn't hear what men think about their woman having male friends.. but it was still a good read/listen.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Amazing listening, what a father should share with his daughters
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The book gave me key insights into presentation and appearance which people close to me have talked about over and over. I'm definitely running with these lessons. Although some of his ideas appear to make the woman responsible for the man's behaviour, you simply need to movr past that distraction or general opinion and learn to understand and use the power you have as a woman. It really isn't a man's world (relationship wise)as most people like to think. His reading style was very enjoyable.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5As a man he brought back some old memories. He was correct on 95% of his statements. Only ran across this book looking for something else but glad I did. Really answered some gray areas about manhood.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Please write another one and read it!!! I absolutely love your words of wisdom thank you for keeping us up on game!! Preach
