About this audiobook
A powerful hit man, Gideon is the master of the game in a jet-setting world dominated by money, women, and violence. Living off the grid, making love on the run, he makes his living as a contract killer by enacting the revenge of the brokenhearted…for a price.
One woman taught him to kill, another motivates him to succeed in the business of revenge. If he can amass a million dollars, the woman he desires has promised to run away with him. For her sake, Gideon takes a high-profile job that earns him dangerous enemies, and hops a plane to London hoping to escape the aftermath. On the plane he meets two mysterious women-have they been sent to bring him down? Have his past transgressions caught up with him at last? Or will one of these strangers help him choose a life of love over a life of violence?
In this underworld of grifters and killers, brokenhearted squares and streetwalkers, loyal fans will spot some familiar faces from Dickey's previous books. A thrilling ride through extremes of love and danger, Sleeping with Strangers thrives on the darker passions of revenge and desire.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5After all these years I still love this book from my favorite author EJD!!
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5A fun sexy read. Eric knows his stuff, and Gideon is hot! If you want a fun book to take you mind off your stresses this is it. It'll leave you hanging in the end, because there's a sequel, Waking With Strangers.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Dickey is, as always, brilliant in his descriptions of settings, people, and especially intimate scenes. This book not as saucy as other works and at times difficult to follow sequence. This is the first Dickey work that I was able to set aside. Normally, I can't put his novels away until I finish them. A loyal fan, I eagerly await publication of "Waking with Enemies" due out this week. Can't wait to find out which woman bought the contract. For me, the "happy ending" would be for Gideon and Arizona to hook up permanently but that's not Dickey's style.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Usually I can read an EJD book in 1 day but it took me a minute to get into this one. But once I did, I couldn't put it down. I really loved this book. If you are a TRUE EJD fan, you will read it. It's different then his other books. I can't wait for Walking with Enemies.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5looooved it. I'd initially thought I would end up hating it, however, I ended up doing the exact opposite. I wasn't sure how I would feel about, seeing as his writing has changed so much over the year, but my taste must be changing because this is exactly what I've been missing. I'm so damn tired of the predictable boy meets girl. Falls in love. Break up, get back together happily ever after stories. It took reading this book for me to figure it out. Kudos Mr. Dickey. I can't wait to read the sequel. 4hrs 42mins
