Flooring adds distinctive signature style and creates a lasting impression. It’s one of the first things architects and designers consider in a space as it’s a key design component. It needs to be durable to withstand foot traffic, offer thermal comfort and acoustic buffering, complement the decor and architectural style of a home and, of course, provide comfort.

Technological developments have improved the versatility and durability of flooring materials. While the warmth and robustness of natural timber lends itself to myriad architectural-style homes, there is now engineered timber and hybrid flooring that offers a host of benefits, with some products able to be used in wet areas.
