One year ago today, the White Sox season already was over.
They were 18-38 on June 3, 2018, trailing the division-leading Indians by 11 games and 16 1/2 games out of the second American League wild-card spot. The only thing Sox fans had left to look forward to was the arrival of Michael Kopech.
