Simply adjust the amount of seeds used in the netting stage to fit the captured bead used to create your desired style. The basic rope uses a 6mm pearl, the other 2 ropes use a combination of 4mm, 6mm and 8mm beads just in different combinations. Netting can be done with any size seed bead, the count of seeds is what is important not the size of the beads, my standard netting stitch is a size 11 seed with a size 8 seed (of the same brand.) For ease, I use a size 8 seed as the point tip of my netting stitch. This makes your step up and the capture stage easier to see. Once you have the hang of the stitch, change out your sizes and have fun with the stitch. This rope is started in the centre of the design and worked up each side, this is a great design tip for a perfect fit.

BASIC CAPTURED NETTING STEP ONE

Roll off 6m of thread (or double the amount you are comfortable using) roll up half onto Ezy bobbin and add needle to the other end. Base row: Add (1x6GP (glass pearl), 1x8sb (8° seed bead), 1x6GP, 1x8sb, 1x
