in this issue, I’d like to investigate design within the five elements needed to make a home. Design is the seed from which all building should grow because it serves a human condition. Design brings into focus our cultural, aspirational and historical place in time. The perfect answer to design should never be finished and should respond to the current condition without regurgitating the past. Sounds simple, doesn’t it?
