MATERIALS

• Fat quarter bright yellow print fabric (centre yoyos)

• 3.2m (3 1/2yd) yellow print fabric (outer rounds of Rows 1, 3 and 5)

• 1.5m (1 5/8yd) green-navy print fabric (outer rounds of Rows 2 and 4)

• 20 fat quarters of assorted light and dark print fabrics – see Note (inner and middle rounds)

• 28-weight cotton thread such as Aurifil Cotton Mako’ Ne 28 (yoyo construction)

• 50-weight cotton thread such as Aurifil Cotton Mako’ Ne 50 (joining yoyos)

• Size 10 milliner’s (straw) needle

• Fabric marker

• 4 1/2in yoyo template or compass and template plastic or cardboard to make your own – see
