LOS ANGELES - On a warm Friday night that shook Chavez Ravine and the Boston Red Sox, the Los Angeles Dodgers returned home to their history, their hysteria, and a Game 3 battle that was won 3-2 by the Dodgers in 18 innings.
It was the longest game in World Series history, both teams exchanging jab after jab, with the Dodgers surviving several body blows.
