This year marks the 30th anniversary of the beginning of the "global warming" (now known as "climate change") panic.
As noted by , it was on June 23, 1988 that NASA scientist James E. Hansen testified before the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources and asserted a "high degree of confidence" in "a cause-and-effect relationship between the greenhouse effect and observed warming."
