Missouri Lawmakers Will Hold Special Session To Consider Impeaching Governor

More than three-fourths of the members of Missouri's Legislature signed a petition to call for the session. Gov. Eric Greitens faces two felony charges.

Missouri lawmakers say they will convene a special legislative session to consider impeaching Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens, as the embattled governor faces two felony charges.

"This was not a decision made lightly, and certainly not without great deliberation and effort," House Speaker Todd Richardson, R-Poplar Bluff, Thursday.
